1. System Administrator – Citrix

Basic Job Description:

We are looking for a self-motivated, goal-driven individual to do the following:
• Installation and configuration of Citrix Hypervisor host servers and resource pools.
• Configuration of Citrix hypervisor components, which include (but not limited to) workload balancing, high availability, storage multipathing and network teaming, among others.
• Installation and configuration of Citrix Virtual Desktop environment.
• Configuration of Citrix Virtual Desktop components, which include (but not limited to) Delivery Controllers, Citrix Studio, Citrix Director, License Server, Storefront Server and Provisioning Services Server, among others.
• Installation and configuration of Citrix VPX (Netscaler).
• Other Citrix configuration such as creation of OS templates, machine catalogs, etc.
• Setting up and migration of Microsoft SQL Server cluster and File Server.
• Configuration documentation preparation.

Requirements and Skillsets

Required experience and skills:
1. At least one-year experience in managing Citrix Hypervisor (XenServer) private cloud infrastructure.
2. At least one-year experience in managing Citrix Virtual Desktop (XenDesktop) environment.
3. At least 2-3 years of experience in managing Windows system: Windows Server 2019 / 2016 and Microsoft SQL Server.
4. Recent experience in deploying VPX / Netscaler in a Citrix cloud environment.
5. Deep understanding on the overall concept of virtualization technology and cloud infrastructure as a service.

Good to have experience and skills:
1. Recent experience in Virtual Desktop / XenDestop VDI environment migration and VPX / Netscaler upgrade / migration will be an added advantage.
2. Having Citrix Virtualization certification such as CCA-V or CCE-V will be an added advantage.

Additional requirements:
– Ability to work on a fast-paced environment
– Ability to work on tight deadlines and under pressure
– Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and be able to work independently
